Chicago Home Inspection Services

Private I Home Inspections is a Chicago, Illinois based home inspection firm. Offering inspections of residential homes and commercial buildings, our professional licensed inspectors can help.

A Home Inspection is your security and peace of mind. Whether you are buying or selling a home, knowing its condition guarantees you a fair and smooth transaction. Because you may not know everything you should about the condition of the roof, chimneys, siding and trim, attic ventilation, electrical wiring, plumbing, furnace and air conditioner, or a great number of other items in the home.

Our Home Inspection is a thorough, in-depth, visual examination of the structure and operating components of the home performed by trained professionals.
The Inspector will be at your home for 1 to 2 hours. And you are invited to follow along every step of the way. We want you to come along and see for yourself. Ask lots of questions. We expect it. We work for YOU.

When the Inspection is Over…..

The Inspector will prepare a Property Inspection Report that gives easy to read details on:

  • The condition of components from the roof to the basement.
  • How things work.
  • Major and minor deficiencies.
  • Any major deficiencies.
  • Any major expenditures coming up.
  • What to watch for.
  • Helpful home preservation tips.

Then the Inspector will review the report with you to make sure you understand everything. Of course, you get to keep the 33-page bound report. Our inspection service takes pride in every inspection we perform. Our inspectors are highly trained, knowledgeable and professional.
